July 2025 Paintouts - the Fountains of Portland

 

Summer is here, and with the warm weather the Portland fountains are on and the kids are out wadding. We are painting the fountains, "not because they are easy to paint, but because they are hard" (apologies to John Kennedy).

Thursday, July 3:  Paint Lovejoy Fountain Park, SW Harrison St & Southwest 3rd Avenue. from 10am to 12:30pm. Portland's stealth fountain. Behind a Harrison Tower on Harrison Street.

Tuesday, July 8: Paint Ira Keller Fountain Park, SW 3rd Ave &, SW Clay from 10am to 12:30pm. Portland's largest volume fountain at 13,000 gallons per minute.

​Tuesday, July 15:  Paint Salmon Street Springs Fountain, 1000 SW Naito Pkwy, from 10am to 12:30pm. Portland's waterfront fountain with views of Hawthorne Bridge.

Thursday, July 17:  Paint Portland views or Pittock Mansion views from 3229 NW Pittock Dr,. 10am to 12:30am.(no fountain here)

Tuesday, July 22:  Paint Jamison Square Fountain, 810 NW 11th Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm.

Wednesday, July 30:  Paint Portland Farmers Market - Shemanski Park, 1010 SW Park Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. 4 hour parking on SW 10th.(no fountain here either).
