Painters, Spring weather is finally here. So let's paint outdoors. Here are opportunities to plein air paint in Portland during May, 2026: Friday, May 1 , from 1pm to 3pm. Paint Tillicum Bridge or the OMSI from Robertson Collaborative life science , RCLS, building. Meet behind the building. Paid street parking along S. Meade St. and free parking across the river at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. Trolley and Max also have stops at the RCLS Building. Restrooms are inside Elephants Deli. Wednesday, May 6 , from 10am to noon Paint the Hoyt Magnolia Trail in bloom. Meet at Hoyt Arboretum (where the bathrooms are), 4000 SW Fairview Blvd, at 10am, then walk to Magnolia Trail. A couple of hundred yards of walking required.
