Painters: October is here. Fall colors and pumpkins make plein air painting a delight. We have a special paint-out scheduled for Elk Rock Garden. Elk Rock Garden has been returned to private ownership in the last year, and the new owners want to keep the gardens open to the public. Jennifer Brennock, the development manager of the non-profit "Elk Rock Garden", has invited us to paint the gardens on October 16, 2025.  Here is our paint-out calendar: Thursday, October 2nd : Paint the pumpkins at New Seasons Slabtown, 2170 NW Raleigh St. from 10am to 12:30pm. Coffee and Restrooms available. Thursday, October, 9th : Paint plants and views from Pomarius Nursery, 1920 NW 18th Ave. from 10am to 12:30pm. Street parking and restrooms available. Thursday, October 16th:  Paint the views of the lovely Elk Rock Garden, 11800 S Military Ln, Portland, from 10am to 12:30pm.
