Rain forecast for tomorrow, August 31, so the Mill Pond Park paint-out is moved to September 14th. Here are the other paint-outs for September 2023.
Thursday, September 7: Paint the waterlilies in Tanner Springs Park, NW 10th and NW Marshall, from 10am to 12:30pm. Monet move over.
Tuesday, September 12th: Paint views of Portland from Overlook Park, 1599 N Fremont St, Portland across from Kaiser Interstate from 10am to 12:30pm. 
Wednesday, September 13th: Paint Wednesday Farmers Market in Shemanski Park, SW Main and SW Park Ave. from 10am to 12:30 pm. 

Thursday,September 14th: Paint the views around Mill Pond Park, 1885 NW Mill Ridge Rd Portland OR 97229, from 10am to 12:30pm. Parking and restrooms are available.
Tuesday, September 19th: Paint Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, 5801 SE 28th, from 10am to 12:30pm. $5 entrance fee, worth every penny.
Thursday, September 21st: Paint Cornell Farm, 8212 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, from 10am to 12:30pm. Park in the back to leave spaces for shoppers. 
Tuesday, September 26:Paint Portland in the afternoon light from  Pittock Mansion, 3229 NW Pittock Dr, from 1pm to 3:30pm. Pay for parking.
Thursday, September 28: Paint Ships, Fremont Bridge, Broadway Bridge and other Willamette River views from Waterfront Pearl, 1310 NW Naito, from 1pm to 3:30pm. Street parking along Naito. Restrooms in Ovation Coffee two blocks away.

May 2024 Paint-0uts

Spring is here. For Portland that means Flowers and Showers. You have to decide your own tolerance for rain. If it is raining straight down I will attempt to reschedule when the weather is better. Here is our May 2024 calendar: Friday, May 3rd : Paint the Iris garden in South Waterfront Park, 2001 S River Dr. from 1pm to 3pm. Thursday, May 9th: Paint Crystal Springs Garden, 5801 SE 28th Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. The Crystal Springs volunteers request that we carry our paint water in/out, that we have a drop cloth under our easels, and that we don't block the paths. There is an $8.95 entry fee. However, you may enter with the Community Access Program showing a Oregon Trail Card/ SNAP EBT WIC, TANF, REF/RCA or TriMet Honored Citizen. They suggest a pay-as-you-wish donation.
