Paint-outs schedule for November 2025

  Portland Painters, It looks like a wet November this year. So, I have only scheduled two paint-outs this month. If it is raining straight down, I suggest we stay home.  Tuesday, November 4: Paint fall colors from Overlook Trail in Hoyt Arboretum from 1pm to 3:30 pm. Meet in the parking lot at 1pm and walk to Overlook Trail. Restrooms and paid parking available. Tuesday, November 11: Paint fall colors from the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, 4000 SW Canyon Rd, from 1pm to 3:30pm. Paid parking and restrooms at Oregon Zoo. Take care and stay dry, Brooks

Paint outs for March 2025

​BOLO, Be on the lockout for spring flowering trees and locations to paint. Let me know what you find. Meantime here are two paint-out locations for March 2025, both in the afternoon: Thursday, March 6:  Paint your favorite Parks Block Church from 1pm to 3pm. We have several to choose from, The Congregational Church, 1126 SW Park Ave , built in 1895, or St. James Lutheran, 1315 SW Park Ave , built 1891, or First Christian Church, 1314 SW Park Ave , or  The Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist across the park block. 2 hour street parking along SW Park Ave, and 4 hour parking along SW 10th ave. Thursday, March 20: Canceled due to rain Paint Cornell Farm, 8212 SW Barnes Rd, Portland, OR from 1pm to 3pm. Deby Barnhart has invited us to paint the flowers and views at Cornell Farm. Please park out back to leave spaces for her customers. There are restrooms and a lovely restaurant for coffee or brunch.
