April 2025 Paint-outs

 Spring is here and the trees are blooming. Time to get outside and paint:
Thursday, April 3: Paint the blooming cherry trees at NE Tillamook and NE 16th from 10am to noon. Parking on the street and interesting houses to paint.

Wednesday, April 9: Paint Magnolia Trail Trees at Hoyt Arboretum,, from 10:15am to 12:15pm Meet at Hoyt Arboretum, 4000 SW Fairview Blvd at 1pm where there are restrooms. Walk down the trails to Magnolia Trail, and back after paint-out. This does require carrying your art supplies several hundred yards.

Thursday, April 17:Paint the Dragon Boats from the Riverplace Marina Public Dock, 1500 S Harbor Way, from 10am to noon. Stand (or sit) on a floating dock in the Willamette river and paint Dragon Boats and Riverplace Marina.

June 2024 Paint-outs

  June is here. June is here. Roses and Rose Festival.Here are our paint-outs for June:   Saturday, June 8: Paint the Fleet from the  Vera Katz Eastbank Esplanade near Morrison Bridge from 10am to 12:30pm. No restrooms. Parking under I 5 near SE Salmon St. Sunday, June 9: Paint the dragon boat races from the East Bank Trail near the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), under the Marquam Bridge from 10am to 12:30pm. Free parking at Oregon Rail Heritage Center under 99E.  Tuesday, June 11: Paint the waterlilies and city views from Tanner Springs Park, NW 10th Ave & Marshall, from 10am to 12:30pm. Street 2 hour parking. Thursday, June 13: Paint the  International Rose Test Garden, 400 SW Kingston Ave,, from 10am to  12:30pm. Tuesday, June 18: Paint Portland Views from Pittock Mansion, 3229 NW Pittock Dr, from 10am to 12:30pm. Paid parking.
