I reviewed last year's August paint-outs and I cancelled several paint-outs due to 100+ heat and forest fire smoke. Forecast for this August is much better. Here are my paint-outs for this August. Join me if you can. If you cannot make these paint-outs go out and paint on your own or with friends. Enjoy the Portland mild August weather and lovely scenes. Thursday, August 8 : Paint Keller Fountain , SW 3rd Ave & SW Clay St. from 10am to 12:30pm. The fountain is back on ! Saturday, August 10 : Paint the Pittock . This is a special open house event at the Pittock. I plan to paint early, 9:30am to 12:30pm. However, you are invited to paint any time you like.   July is the month to paint Portland's Fountains. You can wear your Tivas and get your feet wet if you like. Here are our Paint-outs:   Thursday, July 11: Paint Centennial Mill and Fremont Bridge from the river walkway in front of Waterfront Pearl, 1310 NW Naito from 10am to 12:30pm. Centennial Mill will be destroyed later this year. Last chance to  paint the Mill.  Paid parking along Naito. Coffee and restroom two blocks away at Ovation Coffee.   Tuesday, July 16: Paint Jamison Square Fountain, 810 NW 11th Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. Street paid parking. Lovejoy Bakery one block away.   Thursday, July, 18: Paint the Peninsula Park Rose Garden Fountain, N. Ainsworth and N.
