Paint-outs for August 2024

I reviewed last year's August paint-outs and I cancelled several paint-outs due to 100+ heat and forest fire smoke. Forecast for this August is much better. Here are my paint-outs for this August. Join me if you can. If you cannot make these paint-outs go out and paint on your own or with friends. Enjoy the Portland mild August weather and lovely scenes.
Thursday, August 8: Paint Keller Fountain , SW 3rd Ave & SW Clay St. from 10am to 12:30pm. The fountain is back on !
Saturday, August 10: Paint the Pittock . This is a special open house event at the Pittock. I plan to paint early, 9:30am to 12:30pm. However, you are invited to paint any time you like. Katie Williams, activities director for the Pittock, is our hostess.
Tuesday, August 13: Paint Sellwood Riverfront Park, 1221 SE Oaks Park Way, Portland, OR, from 10am to 12:30pm. Views of Sellwood Bridge and Willamette River. Parking and restroom in the park. https://www.portland.gov/parks/sellwood-riverfront-park
Wednesday, August 21:  Paint Wednesday Farmers Market at Shemanski Park, 1010 SW Park Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. 4 hour parking along SW 10th Ave.
Thursday, August 22: Paint Director's Park Fountain, 900 SW Taylor, from 10 am to 12:30pm. Paint the people around Director's Park. Smart Park, coffee, and restrooms in Nordstrom's.
Tuesday, August 27: Paint Lovejoy Fountain Park, SW Harrison St & Southwest 3rd Avenue from 10am to 12:30pm. This is Portland's stealth fountain behind the Harrison Tower. Restrooms and coffee at Spella's Coffee, 1800 SW 1st Ave.
Thursday, August 29: Paint Willamette River Views from the OMSI, 1945 SE Water Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. Views of Tilikum  Crossing, Hawthorne Bridge, and downtown Portland from the river trail in front of the OMSI. Paid parking at the OMSI and free parking at the Oregon Rail Heritage Center. Restrooms inside the OMSI.
