Thursday, September 7: Paint the waterlilies in Tanner Springs Park, NW 10th and NW Marshall, from 10am to 12:30pm. Monet move over. Tuesday, September 12th: Paint views of Portland from Overlook Park, 1599 N Fremont St, Portland across from Kaiser Interstate from 10am to 12:30pm.  Wednesday, September 13th: Paint Wednesday Farmers Market in Shemanski Park, SW Main and SW Park Ave. from 10am to 12:30 pm.  Thursday,September 14th: Paint the views around Mill Pond Park, 1885 NW Mill Ridge Rd Portland OR 97229, from 10am to 12:30pm. Parking and restrooms are available. Tuesday, September 19th: Paint Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden, 5801 SE 28th, from 10am to 12:30pm. $5 entrance fee, worth every penny.   The Oregon Society of Artists' annual Plein Air and Alla Prima show is accepting entries now until September 22nd, 2023. This is our show.   I have to cancel tomorrow's paint-out that I had scheduled for Crystal Springs. We had a water emergency in our condo and will be drying and taking up flooring, bummer. So, paint where you like. Thursday's paint-out at Mill Pond Park , 1885 NW Mill Ridge, is still on. Forecast is cloudy with a chance of rain. So, if the weather on Thursday is cloudy, I will see you there. If the weather Thursday is raining straight down, use your judgment. I am thrilled at the prospect of the rain we so need. See you all Thursday, August 31. I hope. Brooks
