Paint-out Calendar June 1-15, 2023

June is here and the roses are starting to bloom so it is our job to get out there and paint them. Here is our paint-out calendar for the first through the 15th of June, 2023.
Tnack for lunch.
Friday, June 2: Paint Peninsula park rose garden, N.. Ainsworth and N. Albina, from 10am to 12:30pm.
Tuesday, June 6: Paint the Iris and other views from South Waterfront Park, 2001 S River Dr, Portland, OR 97201. Street parking and garage parking nearby.
Friday, June 9: Paint the Fleet Week Ships from the East Bank Trail near the Morrison Bridge from 10am to 12:30pm.
Saturday, June 10: Paint the dragon boat races from the west bank trail near the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry, OMSI, from 10am to 12:30pm. Parking at the OMSI or near the Oregon Rail Hehursday, June 1: Elizabeth Ereckson has invited us to paint the roses blooming in her yard at 1345 SE Bidwell st. ,Portland 97202, in Sellwood (Same block as the library). From 10am to 1pm, bring paints and a sritage Center.
Wednesday, June 14: Paint Wednesday Farmers Market at Shemanski Park, SW Main and SW Park Ave. from 10am to 12:30pm. Parking on SW 10th.
Thursday, June 15: Paint Peninsula park rose garden, N.. Ainsworth and N. Albina, from 10am to 12:30pm

May 2024 Paint-0uts

Spring is here. For Portland that means Flowers and Showers. You have to decide your own tolerance for rain. If it is raining straight down I will attempt to reschedule when the weather is better. Here is our May 2024 calendar: Friday, May 3rd : Paint the Iris garden in South Waterfront Park, 2001 S River Dr. from 1pm to 3pm. Thursday, May 9th: Paint Crystal Springs Garden, 5801 SE 28th Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. The Crystal Springs volunteers request that we carry our paint water in/out, that we have a drop cloth under our easels, and that we don't block the paths. There is an $8.95 entry fee. However, you may enter with the Community Access Program showing a Oregon Trail Card/ SNAP EBT WIC, TANF, REF/RCA or TriMet Honored Citizen. They suggest a pay-as-you-wish donation.
