  Painters take your mark-get set- go-   Thursday, May 1:  Paint redbud and dogwood  in full bloom at Vietnam Veterans Memorial,4000 SW Canyon Rd, from 10am to 12:30pm. Thursday, May 8 :Paint Pittock Mansion, 3229 NW Pittock Dr, Portland, from 10am to 12:30pm. Views of the Mansion, Portland, and Hood Mountain. Pay for parking. Restrooms available. Thursday, May 15 : Paint Crystal Springs Garden, 5801 SE 28th Ave, from 10am to 12:30pm. The Crystal Springs volunteers request that we carry our paint water in/out, that we have a drop cloth under our easels, and that we don't block the paths. There is an $9 entry fee( $8 for seniors). However, you may enter with the Community Access Program showing a Oregon Trail Card/ SNAP EBT WIC, TANF, REF/RCA. or an annual pass as low as $30.   Spring is here and the trees are blooming. Time to get outside and paint: Thursday, April 3: Paint the blooming cherry trees at NE Tillamook and NE 16th from 10am to noon. Parking on the street and interesting houses to paint. ​ Wednesday, April 9: Paint Magnolia Trail Trees at Hoyt Arboretum,, from 10:15am to 12:15pm Meet at Hoyt Arboretum, 4000 SW Fairview Blvd at 1pm where there are restrooms. Walk down the trails to Magnolia Trail, and back after paint-out. This does require carrying your art supplies several hundred yards. Thursday, April 17: Paint the Dragon Boats from the Riverplace Marina Public Dock, 1500 S Harbor Way, from 10am to noon. Stand (or sit) on a floating dock in the Willamette river and paint Dragon Boats and Riverplace Marina. Keep painting outdoors, PleinairBrooks
